Overview
The TowaRds AdvaNced multidiSciplinary Fault ObseRvatory systeMs2 (TRANSFORM2) project is a pan-european endeavour in upgrading, advancing and transforming Near Fault Observatories (NFOs) to the next generation. By integrating cutting-edge technologies in instrumentation and machine-learning to a deep knowledge of geological processes linked to fault zones, it aims to build the foundations of the new era of NFOs on science, innovation and collaboration. We comprise a group of researchers across disciplines with a unifying objective: understand the connection between faults and earthquakes and strengthen resilience against seismic hazards
