Successful presence at the Patras IQ 2026 Exhibition
The TRANSFORM² project marked a successful presence at the Patras IQ 2026 exhibition, held from Friday, February 27th to Sunday, March 1st, 2026. Throughout the three-day event, our team maintained an exhibition booth that served as a hub for networking, showcasing how the project is currently transforming NFO infrastructures through advanced technologies, state-of-the-art systems, and robust European partnerships.
Our dedicated session took place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, titled “Resilience in Urban Areas – Opportunities of the TRANSFORM² Project”. The session started with Assistant Professor Panagiotis Elias (University of Patras), the Project Coordinator, who outlined the fundamental challenges the project tackles while presenting its current status and key results achieved so far.
The program continued with Ilias Aliferis, Senior Solution Architect, who detailed the connection between TRANSFORM² resilience services and urban infrastructure for proactive risk reduction.
The event concluded with an open discussion on the prospects of stakeholder collaboration and the exploitation of project results, coordinated by Asst. Prof. Panagiotis Elias, Ilias Aliferis, and Dr. Dimitrios Paronis from the National Observatory of Athens.
Contribution to the dialogue was made by Ms. M. Symianaki from the Civil Protection Department of the Region of Western Greece—a valued partner of the TRANSFORM² Consortium. She expressed the Region’s firm commitment and support in adopting resilience services for urban infrastructure to facilitate proactive risk reduction.
Key factors in our successful presence at the exhibition were the contribution of the PLEIADES Innovation Ecosystem team, with a special acknowledgment to Mr. Spiros Mazarakis for his support, as well as the contribution of Ms. GeorgiaKolovadi(MSc Geochemistry and Petrology) and Dr. AndreasKarakonstantis(Post-Doctoral researcher), both members of the TRANSFORM² team from the University of Patras, who played a vital role in engaging with visitors and showcasing the project’s activities.
